Nicole DeMaise is an executive leader and attorney with more than 23 years of experience advising companies, founders, boards, and executive teams. She has served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, Data Protection Officer, and Company Secretary for organizations operating across financial services, technology, fintech, artificial intelligence, data, and other highly regulated industries.
Nicole’s experience extends well beyond traditional legal advice. She has helped build and scale international businesses, establish legal and operational functions, negotiate complex commercial relationships, design governance and risk frameworks, and guide organizations through growth, regulatory change, and other consequential moments.
Through Khairos ECA, Nicole provides executive counsel and strategic advisory grounded in both legal judgment and firsthand operating experience. She helps leaders understand the full implications of a decision, identify the issues that matter most, and develop a practical path forward.
